Upward Basketball and Cheerleading offer unique opportunities for K-6th grade students to develop their skills .  It promotes healthy self-esteem through reasonable competition, good sportsmanship, and equally matched teams.  Practices and games are each limited to one hour per week.  The practices include a devotional period, and a testimony is shared at halftime of each game.

The 2009 season will see practices begin the week of Monday, September 14th, and games will begin on Saturday, October 3rd.  The Awards Celebration will be held on Monday, November 16.
